Located in Wabedo Township, Wabedo Lake is approximately 4mi South of Longville, MN. Wabedo Lake is split by a peninsula into SW & NE bays and covers around 1,226acres. The lake is as deep as 95’ in the SW bay and almost 1,000acres of the lake is 15’ deep or more. The NE bay has a channel access connecting it to Little Boy Lake, and there is a public boat access in the SW bay off of County Road 120/Wabedo Pass Road NE.
Amenities
Diamond Crest Resort is situated on 22 secluded acres on the peninsula separating the SW & NE bays of Wabedo Lake. They have cabins, campsites for tents & RV’s, and boats available for guests to enjoy.
Fishing
The DNR stocks Wabedo Lake with walleye every few years and last stocked it in 2021. They currently have special fishing regulations for walleye & northern pike on Wabedo Lake so be sure to check current regulations for the lake. Other fish surveyed in the lake include black, brown, & yellow bullhead; bluegill; pumpkinseed; yellow perch; largemouth, smallmouth, & rock bass; muskellunge; hybrid sunfish; and black crappie.
